Biography

This profile is part of the Nowell Name Study.

Mary was born in 1796 and baptised on 1 Aug1796 at Radcliffe on Trent, the daughter of William Nowell and Elizabeth nee Stanton.

She married Samuel Cupit on 25 Sep 1817 at Bingham and they had 15 children.

In 1841 they lived at The Banks, Bingham and Samuel worked as a gardener.

Mary died in 1845 aged 48 and was buried 4 Feb1845 at Bingham.
