Biography

Creed Nunnelly is a part of US Black heritage.

Creed was born in 1823 in Virginia. By 1851 (the birth of his eldest child) he was living in Missouri. He had been enslaved by John Nunnelly prior to Emancipation.

Creed married Prudence around 1845. They raised a large family in Missouri where they farmed. They were married for over 55 years by the time Creed passed away in 1901.
