Biography

Cecila O'Grady, the daughter of Standish O'Grady and Adelaide Blennerhasset, was born about 1855.

As the sole heiress, she inherited her father's Rockbarton County Limerick estate on his death in 1860.[1] A legal challenge of the 3rd Viscount Guillamore's will was attempted.
THE GUILLAMORE ESTATES.
It is stated by parties likely to be cognizant of the circumstances that The O’Grady estates in the county of Limerick are about to become the subject of a litigation which may prove expensive to all concerned, and extend over many years duration. ….. [2]

She married Edward Fitzedmund Burke Roche on 28 May 1877 at Croom.[3] [4]
MARRIAGE OF LORD FERMOY.
The marriage of Lord Fermoy with the Hon. Cecil [sic] O’Grady, only daughter of Standish, third Viscount Guillamore, was solemnised on Saturday in the Church of Talleybrackey, near Bruff. The little edifice which is quite convenient to the residence of the bride, at Rockbartin, was beautifully decorated for the occasion, and the avenue leading to the house and the passage to the church were, at intervals, spanned with triumphal arches. The tenantry on the estate of the late Viscount, and the residents in the locality turned out in large numbers to greet the happy couple. ….. [5]Edward Burke Roche was the 2nd Baron Fermoy, son of Edmund Burke Roche, 1st Baron Fermoy and Elizabeth Caroline Boothby.
[6] The couple had an only child, Ada Sybil Roche (29 June 1879 - 15 May 1944).

Cecilia (née O'Grady) Roche died on 17 September 1919 at Dublin, Ireland. Source needed.
