Biography

The earliest record for William Pleasant in Georgia was the 1860 census for Northern Division in Walton County. The area includes the town of Bethlehem, Georgia. He was listed as 8/12 months old on a census that was enumerated on July 31, 1860. This would place his birthdate in December of 1859[1]. He was the son of John Wesley Odum and Elizabeth Jane Mayfield. He passed away in 1952.
