Mary Oliver was born 6 Aug 1797 in Walkington in the East Riding of Yorkshire, just west of Beverley. She is the daughter of Timothy Oliver and his wife Alice Gouger
Mark Stamp married Mary Oliver in 1929 in the Sculcoates Registration District. This may be within the borders of Hull, or in Skidby or at least Cottingham. [1]
Mark had five children in Skidby: The first Waudby Stamp 1826 is almost certainly not a child of Mary Oliver: It is not yet certain whether he was illegitimate or son of an unknown marriage,
The other four children are all daughters and clearly Mary Oliver's: Margaret Oliver Stamp born in 1830 in Walkington, and the other three in Skidby: Elizabeth 1832, Alice 1835 and Mary 1837.
Mary (Oliver) Stamp was buried in Skidby 11 July 1860 and presumably died a few days earlier. [2]
