Biography
Charles Gilbert Olmstead, a son of Herman and Mary (Bell) Olmstead, was born in Nickerson, Reno County, Kansas on 4 October 1884.
He married Mary (unknown) in c.1907; they had two children, Ruth and Harris.
In 1910 he was the bookkeeper in the Tonkawa, Oklahoma hardware store. By 1920 he had become the assistant cashier at the local bank.
Charles died 8 October 1935 and is buried in the IOOF Cemetery in Tonkawa, Kay County, Oklahoma. [1]
