Biography
Timothy was born in Enfield, Hartford County, Connecticut on 24 July 1793 the son of Simeon Olmsted and Roxalena Abbe.
He married Huldah Cooley and they adopted a boy named "Starr." [1] [See the notation on their son Timothy.]
Timothy died in Westfield, Hampden County, Massachusetts on 1 February 1838. He is buried in the Old Burying Grounds there.[2]
Research Note
Though the 1820 and 1830 census and the 1850 census for Hannah have his name as Olmsted this cemetery marker is Olmstead.
