Private William Onthank II served with Worcester County Militia, Massachusetts Militia during the American Revolution.

William Onthank II is a DAR Patriot Ancestor, A084093.

William II was the son of William & Elizabeth (James) Onthank. He was born in Southborough, Massachusetts on 1 Jul 1757. [1]

William served in the American Revolution from 1775-1780 in Massachusetts, United States.[2]

He married Submit ("Mitte") Newton, daughter of Joel & Lydia (Berry) Newton, on 14 Feb 1781 in Southborough.[3][4]

They were parents of Joel, Lydia, Barbara, Sabra, Emerson, Lovel, Submit, Billie, Curtis, Abigail, Sally & Gullimus.

He died Jan 6, 1820 in Southborough [5] and is buried in town at Old Burial Ground. [6]
