DEATH 18 NOVEMBER 1996 • Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada[1]
"ANDERSON Edith Margaret passed away on November 18, 1996 at The age of 87 years. Edith was born on February 10, 1909 in Red Jacket, SK. She Was predeceased by her husband, Dr. Harold Anderson; her parents, Edward and Charlotte Orton and a brother, Edward. Edith is survived by her two children, John (Mary) of Yorkton and Margaret (Michael) Sieben of Saskatoon; and six grandchildren. Edith was raised and educated in Moosomln and graduated a R.N. from the Winnipeg General In 1931, nursing in Manitoba, Saskatchewan and BC. She was the recipient of the Mayor's Proficiency Award in Grade 8 and the Governor General's Award in Grade 12. Edith married Dr. Harold Anderson in 1943 at Moosomin. She was involved with Beta Sigma Phi, bridge clubs and book clubs throughout her life. Memorial donations may De maae to me Local s.kca.. box jusu, baskatoon, SK, S7K 3S9 or to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, 279-3rd Avenue N Saskatoon, SK. S7K 2H8. The Funeral Service will be held on Friday, November 22. 1996 at 1:00 p.m. In the Chapel at Saskatoon Funeral Home with Rev. Stonhouse officiating. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery. Arrangements have been entrusted to SASKATOON FUNERAL, HOME".[2]
