Biography

William Henry (Osborne) Osborn was born in the Colony of South Australia (1836-1900)

William Henry Osborne was born 14 May 1859 in North Adelaide, South Australia. He was the son of John George Osborne and Sophia Louisa Pointer. ^[1]

He married Harriet Foot Fezzey Tonkin on 7 February 1880 at PM Manse, Adelaide, South Australia. ^[2]

SILVER WEDDING

OSBORN - TONKIN. On the 7th February, 1880, Harriett Beatrice Footfazzie Tonkin, youngest daughter of John Tonkin, leather merchant, West Hindmarsh, to William Henry Osborn, the eldest son of John George Osborn, architect, North Adelaide. At home at "The Angel," 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. ^[3]

William passed away aged 64 ^[4] and was buried in North Road Cemetery. ^[5]

DEATHS

OSBORN. On the 20th August (suddenly), at Point Pass, William Henry, the beloved husband of Harriett B. Osborn (of Henley Beach), aged 64 years. ^[6]
