Biography

Ephraim was born on 3 July 1833 in North Carolina. He was the son of John Osborne and Nancy (Graybeal) Osborne.

In the 1850 census Ephraim (age 16) was living in Ashe, North Carolina.^[1]

When Ephraim was 19 he married on 12 March 1853 in North Carolina, Ashe County. The couple had one child: John Allen Osborne.^[2]

In the 1860 census Ephraim (age 26) was living in North Fork, Ashe, North Carolina, United States.^[3]

In the 1880 census Ephraim (age 46) was living in Whitley, Kentucky, United States.^[4]

Ephraim died at the age of 82 on 11 February 1916 in Kentucky, Whitley County.^[5][6]
