Worth was born 13 Jul 1882 in Lincoln Township, Adair, Iowa. He was the fifth child of Charles Ostrander and Mary Lieurance.^[1]

In 1887 he was living in Whitman, Washington.^[2] The household included C A Ostrander age 46 born in New York, M J Ostrander age 42 born in Illinois, A R Ostrander age 18 born in Illinois, Maud Ostrander age 15 born in Iowa, Chase Ostrander age 8 born in Iowa, Worth Ostrander age 4 born in Iowa, Guy Ostrander age 2 born in Washington Territory, and unnamed boy Ostrander age 0 born in Washington Territory. Charles was a farmer. B R Ostrander age 44 born in Ohio and Olive Ostrander age 42 born in Illinois lived next door.

In 1920 he was living in Okmulgee Ward 4, Okmulgee, Oklahoma.^[8] The household included Worth Ostrander age 37 born in Oklahoma, wife Maud Ostrander age 37 born in Iowa, son Hoyt Ostrander age 5 born in Iowa, daughter Mary Mildred Ostrander age 13 born in Oklahoma and son Robert Ostrander age 1 month born in Oklahoma. Birthplaces appear incorrect, and Mary was likely age 3. Worth was a druggist with his own store.

In 1930 he was living in Okmulgee, Okmulgee, Oklahoma.^[9] The household included W H Ostrander age 47 born in Iowa, wife Maude Ostrander age 47 born in Iowa, and daughter Mary M Ostrander age 15 born in Oklahoma. Worth was proprietor of a drug store.

He died in 1938 in Okmulgee County, Oklahoma.

He is buried in Okmulgee Cemetery, Okmulgee, Okmulgee County, Oklahoma.^[10]
