In 1868, William married Sarah Perham. The marriage was registered in St James, Westminster, Middlesex. ^[1]

In 1881, William and his wife were residing in Kensington. The couple had three daughters in the home. William's occupation was noted as "Knight". ^[2]

Sir William passed away in 1882. His death was registered in Kensington, Middlesex. he was 51-years-old. ^[3] His obituary ran in the Belfast Morning News on 7th February that year. ^[4] Sir William was buried in Brompton Cemetery, Middlesex, England.^[5][6]

William died on 4 February 1882 and his estate passed probate (administration) in 1882 in London.^[7]
