Harold was born in 1927.
In the 1930 census, Harold (age 3) was the son of H C Palmer in Farmington, San Juan, New Mexico, United States.[1]
He passed away in 2021.
Obituary: Harold Earl Palmer, age 94, was born on February 13, 1927 in Farmington and died on September 13, 2021 at the San Juan Regional Medical Center in Farmington. He was a 1947 graduate of Aztec high School and lived all but 3 of his 94 years in San Juan County, including the last 40 in Aztec. He worked for El Paso Natural Gas Company for 30 years before retiring in 1982.
Harold was an avid golfer, hunter, gardener and woodworker and particularly enjoyed his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was a veteran of WWII, having served at the end of the war and the first few months of the occupation of Japan. He had a remarkable memory and interested family and friends with stories of life during the depression, the war and other experiences. He is survived by two sons, Thomas Harold Palmer (Barbara) of Eugene, Oregon and Richard Dale Palmer (Dru) of Aztec, a brother, George Lee Palmer (Roseana) of Guam, 15 grandchildren and 43 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 52 years, Geneva Goodman Palmer, a son, Kenneth Allen Palmer (Denise) and three brothers.[2]
