Biography

Jean Baptiste, the son of Louis Paré and Josette Quay, was born 18 JAN 1735 in St Joachim, Quebec, Ontario, Nouvelle-France.[1]

At the age of 35, Jean Baptiste wed Marguerite LeBeau, the 15 year old daughter of Rene LeBeau and Marguerite LaDurante. They were married on 12 FEB 1770 at Assumption Church, Sandwich, Essex, Ontario, [2] and had the following children:

  1. Jean Baptiste PARE: Birth: 27 OCT 1771 in Pointe du Montreal.
  2. Marguerite PARE: Birth: 7 FEB 1774 in Sandwich de Windsor, Ontario. Death: ABT 13 NOV 1838 in Sandwich, Essex, Ontario
  3. Louis PARE: Birth: 29 APR 1776 in Sandwich de Windsor, Ontario.
  4. Marie Anne PARE: Birth: 12 FEB 1778 in Sandwich de Windsor, Ontario. Burial: 28 SEP 1778
  5. Catherine PARE: Birth: 23 SEP 1779 in Sandwich de Windsor, Ontario.
  6. Marie Catherine PARE: Birth: 20 NOV 1783 in Sandwich de Windsor, Ontario.
  7. Charles PARE: Birth: ABT 1784 in Sandwich de Windsor, Ontario. Death: 6 NOV 1809 in Sandwich de Windsor, Ontario
  8. Marie Jeanne PARE: Birth: 3 JUN 1786 in Sandwich de Windsor, Ontario.
