AVERY PARHAM was born 1755-1760 (1800, 1830 censuses) and died 25 June 1837 in Wake County, North Carolina (Raleigh Register, 10 July 1837). He was living in Wake County as early as the 1800 census. His widow, ELIZABETH REAVES, daughter of William and Mary Reavis (see Reaves), born 1760-1770 (1830 census), was allotted household furniture and $30 out of his estate, 16 November 1837 (Wake County, North Carolina Wills, Inventories, Settlements, Vol. 24, p. 87).
