Hezekiah died on 10 Feb. 1752[1] at Preston and was buried at Avery Cemetery, Preston, New London County, Connecticut. His memorial has links to those of family members.[2]
His will is dated 13 September 1742 with a codicil dated 8 June 1749 and proved on 28 February 1751/52 in Norwich. He mentions his wife Margery and his sons, Paul, Silas, and Moses. He mentions his two enslaved black men, Tony and Prince. Tony is to continue his enslavement with his wife and after 20 years he is to be free. Prince is to continue his enslavement with his son, Silas.[3]
