Biography

David Parker was born in 1808, Vermont. David apparently married his 2nd wife, Persis Kimball, about 1842 in New York, so his sons Edson Parker (born 1831) and Marquis Parker (b. 1835-1836) were by the 1st wife (Persis Hill).

He would appear to be the son of Asa Parker and Acsah (Wench) Parker. b 21 Feb 1808 in Reading Vermont. Find-a-Grave #11868653. See: https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/3:1:939V-S29P-CS?i=54&cc=1784223&personaUrl=%2Fark%3A%2F61903%2F1%3A1%3AXFK4-99L

The find-a-grave entry matches this entry person for person - down to the birth DAY, but off by 1 year. The only reason I hesitate is the birth location. Middleton Springs is further west than Reading.

Odd, because I had just been working on Asa and Acsah a few weeks ago.

Thank you. I have added Asa Parker and Acsah Wench as his parents. I also added a weblink in Asa's profile to his marriage record.
