Biography
Giles Parman was born on 23 Oct 1818 in Tennessee to parents Joseph Parman and Margaret (Peggy) McCowan. He married Rebecca Wilson on 31 Dec 1840 in Daviess, Missouri. Children: Joseph Valentine, Abraham, Henry, Julia Ann, William, Charles McNeese, George, Peter Henderson, Sarah Jane, Mary Clarinda, John W, Giles Franklin. He died on 23 Apr 1863 in Gentry, Missouri.
Giles served in the Civil War.
