Biography

Thomas was born in 1813 in Flintshire, Wales. According to his death record, he was the son of John Parry and Rachel Jones.

In the 1841 England Census John Parry 65 born about 1776 (not in Lancashire), labourer, was head of his household in Collingwood St, Liverpool, Lancashire, England. Other Household Members were his wife Rachel Parry 65 and their children: Elizabeth Parry 35 female servant, Isabella Parry 30, female servant, Margaret Parry 30 female servant, and Thomas Parry 25, bricklayer. Charlotte Parry 15 was the only one of the family enumerated at this address to be born in Lancashire. ^[1]

Other Household Members were his wife Sarah Parry 29 born in Stonehouse, Gloucestershire, and their children, all born in Kirkdale, Lancashire: John Parry 4 scholar, Annette Parry 3, and Harriet Parry 3. Esther Crooks 16 born in Liverpool was their servant. ^[3]

Thomas died aged 67 years in 1879 in Victoria, Australia. His spouse was Sarah Chapman, and he was the son of John Parry and Rachel Jones.^[4]

Probate was granted on 20 Mar 1879 to M. McDonell and J. Sweetman on the will of Thomas Parry died 10 Feb 1879, Lygon St, Carlton, bricklayer. ^[5]
