Biography
In the 1851 England Census Thomas Parry 38 born about 1813 in Mold, Flintshire, Wales, bricklayer, was head of his household in West Derby, Lancashire, England. Other Household Members were his wife Sarah Parry 29 born in Stonehouse, Gloucestershire, and their children, all born in Kirkdale, Lancashire: John Parry 4 scholar, Annette Parry 3, and Harriet Parry 3. Esther Crooks 16 born in Liverpool was their servant. [1]
Sarah Parry, 34 housekeeper from Lancashire, and her children: John Parry 10, Annette 9, Harriet 8, and Isabella 6, arrived on 3 Nov 1857 in Melbourne, Australia from Liverpool on 'Melbourne'. Nationality: English and Welsh. They were going to Young St, Collingwood with her husband.[2]
