Jesse was born in 1907. He is the son of Robert Patterson and Mattie Penick. He had a shoe repair shop for awhile. He enlisted in the Army in 1944.

He married Laura _____ about 1937. I don't find a record. They had two children. Maybe more. He may have married again in 1958 to a Helen White.

Jesse passed away in 1986 at the age of 79. He is buried in the Fort Snelling National Cemetery in Minneapolis, Hennepin County, Minnesota.[1]
