Biography

Giuseppa Patti is a Corleone native resident, the daughter of Paolo Patti and Maria di Maggio, who married in 1717. She is named after her paternal grandmother.

Giuseppa marries Mariano Dragna, son of the late Tommaso Dragna and the living Gioachina, on 25 November 1753.

Leoluca Dragna, of unknown relation, marries the same day.[1]

Mariano and Giuseppa have at least three children: Tommaso (c. 1760), Maria (c. 1765), and Vincenzo (c. 1769).

I estimate Tommaso is born around 1760, twenty years before he marries. He is named after his paternal grandfather.

Maria is born around 1765, based on her age in 1811, and around 1772, based on her reported age at death. She is named after her maternal grandmother.

Vincenzo is born around 1769, based on his reported age at death.

Tommaso marries Francesca Barsalona on 3 April 1780.[2]

Maria marries Leoluca Grizzaffi on 4 February 1797. Her parents are living.[3]

Maria dies at around age 45 (b. 1772) on 16 May 1817. Her husband, Leoluca, survives her.

Don Vincenzo dies at the age of 89 (b. 1769) in Corleone in January 1859. His wife, Donna Maria Dragna, survives him.[4]
