Biography

Amelia was born in 1878 and was baptised 31 March. ^[1]

She was the daughter of Daniel Paul and Susan Poole.

In 1881 she is with her parents. ^[2]

again in 1891. ^[3]

and again in 1901 when she is a servant. ^[4]

1 October 1902 she married Alfred Travers at Beaminster. ^[5]

Three Paul sisters married three Travers brothers!

Her husband died in 1914 in the First World War.

In 1921 she is a widow living at St Mary Street, Beaminster with three of her daughters: Gladys, Mabel and Marjory and a foster-child William Read. ^[7]
