Pauline (Paul) Meisner was a Volga German.

Pauline Paul was born on 5 Mar 1896 in Anton, Volga, Russia[1] to Johann "John" Paul and Theresa Schaefer.

They came to America via S.S. Patricia arriving in New York on 18 Nov 1901. They were bound to her mother's brother Adam Schaefer in Norfolk, Nebraska.[2][3]

Pauline married Frederick Meisner on 15 Feb 1915 in Fort Collins, Colorado. Fred and Pauline had 12 children, three sons died in infancy. The family lived in Fort Collins, Colorado, for 18 years and then moved to Fond Du Lac, Wisconsin in 1928.

Pauline Paul passed away on 1 Nov 1970 in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin. She is buried in Ledgeview Cemetery in Fond du Lac.[4]

Obituary

Mrs. Pauline Meisner, 74, who resided at Rosalind Apartments, 15 N. Marr St., for more than a year, died at 2:30 p.m. Sunday at St. Agnes Hospital where she had been a patient for two weeks.
Born in Grimm, Russia, of German descent, on March 5, 1896, she was the daughter of John and Theresa Schaeffer Paul. She was married to Fred Meisner.
Mrs. Meisner was a member of Church of Peace.
Survivors include six daughters, Mrs. Hans Schumacher, Mrs. Russell Strelow, Mrs. Howard Hall and Mrs. Robert Hutter, all of the city, Mrs. Leo Reich of Chicago, and Mrs. Garhart Roth of North Fond du Lac, and three sons, Albert of Sheboygan, Jerome of the city and Tech. Sgt. Eugene of Tucson, Ariz.
Other survivors are 28 grandchildren; two great-granddaughters; four brothers, Gottlieb Paul of Scottsbluff, Neb., John Paul of Denver, Colo., Alex Paul of San Jose, Calif., and Ben Paul of Valerio, Calif., and two sisters, Mrs. Joseph Toussaint of San Jose Calif., and Mrs. John Amen of Scottsbluff, Neb.
Mrs. Meisner was preceded in death by her husband, three sons, four grandsons and one granddaughter.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Church of Peace with the Rev. Martin Koehler and Rev. Gerald Schrankler officiating. Burial will be in Ledgeview Memorial Park Cemetery.
Friends may call from 3 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Bidlingmaier Funeral Home and at the church from 10:30 a.m. Wednesday until the time of services.[5]
Funeral services, for Mrs. Pauline Miesner, who died Sunday, were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Church of Peace with the Rev. Martin Koehler and the Rev.. Gerald Schrankler officiating. Mrs. Watson Waehler was the organist and Fred Krueger the soloist. Burial was Ledgeview Memorial Park Cemetery. Pallbearers were Gordon Mangan, Lee Walker, Ted Karls, Marvin Dobbratz, Vern LaRonge and Forrest Elkins.[6]

I am getting an error: Change Before Saving Permission Denied

The system will not allow me to do the merge until you go into the profile and change the birth location indicator to uncertain or just update to the correct birth location. Grimm, Lüneburg, Lüneburg, Niedersachsen, Germany [certain] She was born in Anton, Saratov, Volga, Russia according to nat records. I keep getting this error and won't let me save the merge.
