Biography

Paschal Hus was born and baptized on 7 Jun 1796 in Saint-Pierre parish in Sorel, Richelieu, Bas-Canada. He was the son of [[Hus-84|Louis Hus], farmer, and Marguerite Lebrun of this parish. Sponsors at Paschal's baptism were Pierre Hus and Marie Hus; neither sponsor nor the father signed the register.

At age 22 Paschal married Marie Rose Neveu on 20 Oct 1818 in Saint-Pierre parish in Sorel. There were four known children born into this marriage.

Paschal Hus Paul died at age 84 on 30 Sep 1830 in Sainte-Anne parish in Sorel, Richelieu, Bas-Canada; he was buried two days later on 2 Oct in Sainte-Anne parish cemetery..
