Kellogg, IA - Funeral services for Mrs. William Veber, who died at her home northwest of town about 9:30 o'clock Sunday morning, were held at the Christian church here Tuesday afternoon, April 18th, with the pastor, the Rev. J.O. Smith, in charge.

Music was furnished by a male quartet including Harold, Elmer and Lester Koositra and Jay Auten, who sang "In the Garden," "The Old Rugged Cross' and "Will the Circle Be Unbroken?" with accompaniment by Mrs. Frank Auten. The pallbearers were six nephews, Merlin, Eugene, Willis and Floyd Rice, Lawrence Murphy and Verne Harris.

Mrs. Byrd Veber and Mrs. M.J. Moberly had charge of the flowers.

Burial was made in the family lot in "Our Silent City" beside a daughter who died a number of years ago.

Tena Marie Paulson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Paulson, was born in Kellogg, January 2, 1882, where she lived until her marriage to William Veber on December 12, 1900.

In the spring of 1904 they moved to where they now reside. Mrs. Veber's health began to fail about a year ago and to her last consious moments she did not complain despite her days and nights of pain, but was ever cheerful and thoughtful of others.

On the moring of April 16, she quietly passed on to join the loved ones gone before, at the age of 57 years, three months and 15 days.

She leaves to mourn their loss, her husband, one daughter Illa Bryde Mulbrook; four sons Charles James, Earl Nelson, Erville William, and Maxwell Burton; four grandchildren Garry and Dale Veber, Gloria and Larry Mulbrook all of Kellogg; three sisters, Mrs. Mary Rice of Grinnell, Mrs. Olin Murphy of Newton, and Mrs. E.G. Tough of Earlham.
