Biography

Bimsley was born 2 September 1731, in Middleton, Massachusetts. He was the son of Francis Peabody (1694-1769) and Dorothy (Perkins) Peabody (abt.1695-1771).[1]

Private Bimsley Peabody served with Essex County, Massachusetts Militia during the American Revolution.

On 12 November 1754, in Middleton, Massachusetts, Bimsley married Ruth (Marston) Peabody (abt.1735-1815).[2]

Bimsley served as a private in the American Revolution. He joined Middleton's militia, with Captain Asa Prince's company and Colonel Mansfield's regiment. [4] [5]
