Biography

Goodwyn Peebles is a part of US Black heritage.

Goodwyn was born about 1832, son of Henry Peebles and Onnie Williams.

Research Notes

It is quite likely that Onnie Williams is not Goodwyn's mother even though his death certificate indicates such. Based on the 1880 Census for Onnie, it's noted that she was bearing children as late as 1868, whereas Goodwyn was born more than 30 years prior to this. Goodwyn's birth year may be way off, or he was born to another woman with Henry back in the 30's. Please update this profile if/when further information becomes available.
