Biography

Elizabeth (Pelly) Hendrickson was born in Appalachia, in Kentucky.

Elizabeth was born on 8 February 1842 in Casey County, Kentucky. She was the daughter of Hickman Pelly and Elizabeth Allen.

She married William Riley Sanders on 27 March 1867 in Adair County, Kentucky. The marriage was performed by Joseph Knifley.^[1][2]

Elizabeth was widowed in 1872. She married a second time on 4 March 1886 to Urban Green Hendrickson, who was also widowed. The ceremony was performed by Joseph Knifley in Adair County.^[5][6]

After their marriage Urban and Elizabeth continued to reside in the community of Casey Creek in Adair County, Kentucky.^[7][8]

Elizabeth died on 27 May 1915 in Adair County, Kentucky. She was buried in the Sanders Family Cemetery.^[9][10]
