PENNINGTON NOTES & BIBLE RECORD

Notations from the fly leaf of an old Bible in the possession of: Mrs. Blanche Carlberg, 1766 Pinetree Rd, Augusta, GA copied and sent to me by a friend, Mrs. John Rencher, who had received the information from Mrs. Carlberg. Mrs. Rencher had written her concerning the McKemie family but when she saw the Pennington notations she remembered me.

James McKemie was born July the 22nd A. D. 1783, dec'd. January 27 day 1841

Annibal McKemie, his wife, was born December the 17th on Sunday, A. D. 1781

Jane Delany departed this life January 23 on Thursday 1865

Sampson McKemie was born Aprile the 15 of Wednesday A. D. 1819 and dec'd. on Sunday January the 31st A. D. 1841
