1850 Census. Solomon, age 46 was living with four of his children in Fayette, Alabama. The 4 children living in the home at the time were: 1) Mary, age 20 b. 1830; 2) Nancy C, age 18 b. in South Carolina b. 1832; 3) Andrew J., age 16 b. in Alabama in 1834; and 4) Margret A., age 12 b. in Alabama in 1838. Sarah, their mother had been deceased for about 3 years. Solomon was widowed.[1]
