Biography
Eliza Jane Penny was born about 1845 in North Carolina. She is the daughter of Seth Penny and Sally Holloway.[1]
She lived on her grandfathers farm in Wake County, as a young girl, with her grandmother living right next door.
The family moved some time before 1860 to Knap of Reeds in Granville County.[2]
