Biography

Daniel Youngs (Christopher 4, Christopher 3, Rev. John 2, Rev. Christopher 1) was born in Aquebogue. Suffolk County New York in 1712, and died there18 Jan1755, age 43. He married Mary Penny 16 Oct 1732. She died 8 June 1798 age 81. Their children, all born in Aquebogue, are listed as:

  2. Elizabeth married 25 Sep 1755, Ezekiel Petty
  3. Rachel born 1710. died 2 Apr 1783. married Deacon Daniel Terry
  4. Daniel born 1744: married Abiah Swezey.
  5. Abigail born 1745 ; died Aug1794, married Deacon. James Terry
  6. Rufus born 174S; married Mehetable Tuthill.
  7. Katherine born 1749; died 27 Feb 1759.
  8. Nathan married Mary Terry.
  9. INFANT died 1756.[1]

Mary Penny Youngs was born in 1718 in Suffolk County, New York and died 8 Jun 1798 (aged 79–80) in Jamesport, Suffolk County, New York. She was buried in the Jamesport Cemetery.

"Pioneers of Riverhead Town, Virginia Wines, 1987:
Pg 82: ""Danie Youngs" (1712-1755), the brother of Christopher (1700-1786) on the church account, resided on the Youngs farm south of the Country Road, and opposite the south end of Tuthill's Path at Jamesport. He married Oct 16, 1732, Mary Penny, probably the daughter of Edward and Katherine Penny."
