Obit in Aurora Daily Express, Saturday July 14, 1900: "Mrs. Allie Percifield, wife of Scott Percifield, died yesterday afternoon at 4 o'clock after a lingering illness. Deceased was 27 years of age and leaves a husband and one child, a son two years old, to mourn her death. The funeral will be held from her late home, No. 242 Spruce Street, Sunday afternoon at 3 o'clock. Dr. Colledge will officiate."
