John Periam MP is Notable.

Born in 1541 John Periam was a younger son of Exeter merchant, John Periam, [1] and his wife, Margaret Hone [2]called Elizabeth by History of Parliament. [3] He was ducated at New Inn Hall, Oxford and Inner Temple. [3]

His first wife was Elizabeth Prideaux, daughter of Roger Prideaux [3] and his wife, Philippa Yorke. They were parents of three daughters, [3] Maria, Elizabeth and Jana. [2]

He married a second time to Margaret Peck of Buckarel, and a third time to widow Hayes of Lyme Regis. [3]

John is known to have added a codicil to his will on the 10th of August 1617. It was proved on the 15th of October 1618. The date of his death is not yet known. [3]
