Godmira was born in Macerata, Marche, Italy.

Godmira Alecke Carolina Perifano-Biondi was born on the 26th January 1878, in Civitanova Marche, Macerata, Marche, Italy, the daughter of Antonio Perifano- Biondi and Alice Mary Rushbrook. (Godmira was also known as Godmira Alicia Carolina, and as Mira.)

Her father having died in 1880, at some point her mother packed up Godmira, and her younger sister Argia Alicia Casmira, and emigrated to England. Her brother, Mario Carles Spiridion, also emigrated, but to the Northern Territory via Western Australia, Australia in 1892. Older sister, Pierina, remained in Italy, and joined a religious order, becoming known as Sister Maria Brigida.

On the 5th April 1891, Godmira (13) was living at "The Yews", Curry Rivel, Somerset, England. Those in residence at the time were her widowed mother: Alice (41), living on own means; her sister: Argia (11); and their household help: Mosterton, Dorset-born Frances Elizabeth White (24).[1]

They weren't to remain in England for long, as Alicia once again packed up the girls and emigrated to Australia. Unlike Mario, however, who was making a life for himself in the Northern Territory, they went to New South Wales, where they settled in the Sydney area, having arrived aboard the Port Douglas in December 1891[2] — not exactly an uneventful trip, as the ship lost three of the blades of its propeller on the 27th November, and had to finish the voyage under sail.[3] Godmira's maternal grandmother, Alice Harriet Back née Rushbrook, travelled with them. Grandma Alice did not stay overly long, leaving at some point to travel to Africa, where she died in Algiers in 1905.

On the 17th November 1900, 22-year-old Godmira Alecke Carolina Perifano-Biondi married 29-year-old Richard Henry Southan, a clerk, in the parish church of St Matthias Centennial Park Paddington, according to the Rites and Ceremonies of the Church of England. J W Gillet officiated, and their witnesses were Ellen M Gillet, and F Plaint.[4] The marriage was not to last very long, however, ending in divorce only four years later. There were no children.

Godmira Alecke Caroline Southan, formerly Perifano-Biondi was granted a divorcement on the grounds of adultery; the decree nisi was granted in November 1904, the decree absolute to be proved after three months.[5]

Mira and Edgar Augustus Tourle were married on the 6th September 1919, in Paddington, New South Wales.[6]

Godmira Alecke Carolina "Mira" Tourle née Perifano-Biondi, sometimes known as Godmira Alicia Carolina, passed away on the 4th June 1934, at her residence "Mardon Hall", Springfield Avenue, Paddington, New South Wales, Australia.[7]

DEATHS
TOURLE—June 4, 1934 at her residence Mardon Hall Springfield-avenue Godmira Alicia wife of E A Tourle.[8]

Having died intestate, Mira's estate was to be given over to the administration of her husband.[9]
