Thomas was born about 1640. He passed away about 1689.
"Thomas Perrin, born ca 1639-40, died 1689, Henrico Co., married Anne Porter, born before 1651, died 1711 Henrico Co, daughter of Robert Porter . . . " (Kinsey, p. 245) Issue:
1. Ann, married 1695 Thomas East. 2. John, died between 1707 and 1711 3. Elizabeth, married (1) 1694 Thomas Elam, (2) an Alsay and Aldey, or Oldey, and (3) Seth Hatcher. 4. Jane, married (1) by 1711 Thomas Bayley (2) by 1717 William Bassetts 5. Martha, married by 1711 Thomas Cardwell, Jr. Thomas's patent of 140 acres in Henrico County, Cited above was secured one year before his death in 1689. His widow Anne continued to acquire lands. In 1703 she patented 200 acres claiming four persons transported as headrights, and in 1704 the Henrico Co. rent roll showed Anne with 500 acres. (Kinsey, p. 244) Finally 239 acres were sold to son John in 1705 (he died soon after) by a relative of his mother. In her will in 1711 Anne directed that the total acreage be divided between the four daughters. The home plantation bequests include "my horse, five sheep, one cow with calf, one hog that is now in the pen, one steer three years old"[1]
