Biography
Jeanne Thomas, is listed as Marie Anne Thoma widow of Jean Duguay when she remarries on 19 Feb 1776 in Rivière-du-Loup (Saint-Antoine), with Pierre Peron, son of Pierre Peron and Élisabeth Colinar, both deceased, of the parish of St-Louis, Trèves diocese. [1][2] No children found for that marriage.
Note that the city of Trèves (aka Trier) is in modern-day Germany (It's a border town.), but the Trèves diocese appears to have covered territory which might have been in France or in Luxembourg, so his actual birthplace is still to be determined.

Pierre Peron dit Laforme meurt le 30 décembre 1812 et est inhumé le 1 janvier 1813, à Rivière-du-Loup (Louiseville), inscrit Pierre Pieron dit Laforme, âgé de 100 ans (sic) veuf de Charlotte Durusseau Pombert [4]
