Joseph Perry Jr (1750 to 1823) My 6th Great Grandfather Perry Side. He was born in Halifax County, North Carolina to his parents Joseph Perry Sr and Alice Hunter, their 1st child and son. He was born in the American Colonies under King George II and passed away at 72/73 during the Presidency of James Monroe. He is the father of John Bolin Perry Sr Personal Details Born: 1750 Halifax County, North Carolina Died: 1823 Laurens County, Georgia Spouses: Emily Harper (m.1771) Children: 10 Education: Occupation: Patriot Soldier. Later Life He and his family moved to Laurens, Georgia in 1796 and settled on the east side of the Oconee River, which at the time was the border between the settlers and Natives. At the time of his death he was described as a stout man with hair as white as sheep
