Vera Peters was a Canadian physician, radiation oncologist and medical researcher. Her research into Hodgkin's lymphoma and breast cancer changed the way these diseases were treated.
Born in 1911, she was the daughter of Rebecca Mair, a teacher, and Charles Peters, a dairy farmer.[1] She married Kenneth Lobb; they had two children.
She died in 1993 and was buried at Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Toronto.[2]
