Biography

Ens. Cuthbert Harrison Peyton prob. b. 29 Aug 1763 Fauquier Co., VA; d. 4 Jul 1812, Hopkins Co., KY.
He served as an Ensign of the 2nd Virginia Regiment in the Revolutionary War;
He married Catey Bronaugh , daughter of Thomas Bronaugh and Elizabeth Newton, 26 May 1783 bond in Fauquier Co., VA;
Catey Bronaugh b. on 25 Feb 1765; d. on 8 Jan 1822.
Ens. Cuthbert Harrison Peyton and Catey Bronaugh had a son:
Thomas Bronaugh Peyton, born Feb 1797; married Charlotte Smyth.
