Records 6:2923. Nov. 3, 1808. At the home of Br. and Sr. Isaac Pfaff, five miles from Bethania, Br. Pfohl married their daughter, Maria Margaretha Pfaff, to the single Br. Friedrich Krieger.

Records 8:3727. August 17, 1824, Bethania. I rode to Salomo and David Spönhauer, and on the way back stopped to see the widow Mary Krieger and the older and younger Hilsebecks. I wished to make them a friendly visit and to tell them that I would preach at the new school hous on the twenty-second of this month.

There are quite a few references to her in Vol. 8, mostly in the context of visits being paid to her. On 8:3759 her home is referred to as being six miles from Bethania.

8:4102. June 9, 1833. Visited today the widowed Sr. Mary Krieger, whose oldest daughter has married a stranger.

8:4147. Sept. 10, 1834. Visited the widowed Sister Mary Krieger; her daughter has joined the Methodists. Unfortunately, she lives so far from here that she can not well attend meetings. Since she is surrounded by Methodists, it is unfortunate that they make an impression on unstable dispositions.
