Amos Phillips was born on 17 Mar 1784, the son of Abner Phillips and Hannah (Haskell) Phillips. The birth was recorded at Livermore, Maine (in 1784 the plantation of Port Royal, Massachusetts),[1] and his death record says he was born at Livermore,[2] but it probably occurred at Turner, Maine (then also in Massachusetts and known as Sylvester Plantation); see the "Residences" section on Abner Phillips' profile.
