Biography

Romkjen was born in 1723. She was the daughter of Pybe Fokkes and Jancke Hiddes. She married Gosse Sijes, probably about 1748 in Oudkerk. They had children; Sije, Janke, Piebe, Jacob, Anne, Hidde and Johannes. Romkjen passed away after 1772 (mentioned as a church member).
