Death

The following seems to refer to a different Susanna House, because Isaac lived until 1949, and was not widowed when he died. Susanna may have lived until 1972^[6]?

Note

Susanna had several near contemporaries in Hermitage with the same name. A Susanna Piercey was born in 1885^[8], and probably married Jeremiah Fudge^[9]. Another was born in 1877^[10] and probably married Ephraim Simms^[11].

This Susanna is the right age to be the bride of Isaac. However, the place, Gaultois, listed as her residence on her marriage record; and as her birth place on her death record; suggests there may be yet a fourth Susanna Piercey. But her birthplace is listed as Pass Island on the 1921 census, so it seems most likely that this Susanna married Isaac House.
