Biography
Margaret "Maggie" Pigdon (married names McGregor, then Bennison) was born in 1860 in Victoria, Australia, the eldest daughter of Jane Pigdon and John Pigdon.[1]
She married Alexander McGregor on 12 June 1884 in Victoria.[2] Alexander died in August 1896.[3]
Alexander died on 4 August 1896 at Battery Point, Tasmania.[4]
On 27 December 1900, Maggie married Thomas Bennison, a solicitor who later became Lord Mayor of Hobart.[5]
