Biography

Eva was born in 1887. She was the daughter of Joseph Pile & Emma Jane. Eva's birth was registered in the Oct-Nov-Dec quarter of 1887 in the Houghton le Spring district.[1] Eva was baptised on 2 October 1887 in Houghton-le-Spring, Durham, England.[2] In the 1891 census Eva (age 3) was the daughter of Joseph Pile in Bishop Wearmouth, Bishop Wearmouth, Durham, England.[3] In the 1901 census Eva (age 13) was a daughter in Sunderland, Durham, England.[4] In the 1911 census Eva (age 23) was the single stepdaughter of Robert Davison at 12 Belle Vue Road Sunderland, Sunderland, Durham, England.[5]

Eva was registered to vote in 1922 at 5 Russell Road in Acock's Green Ward, Birmingham, West Midlands, England.[6] They were at the same address in 1925[7] and in 1927.[8] In the 1939 register Eva (age 50), Wife, was recorded as married at 30, Wolverhampton, Staffordshire, England.[9]

Eva lived at 31 Glenmore Road, West Bridgford, Nottinghamshire, when she died (age 81) on 30 October 1970 in Nottinghamshire. Eva's death was registered in the Oct-Nov-Dec quarter of 1970 in the Nottingham district.[10] She was buried with her husband in Wednesfield New Burial Ground, Wednesfield, Metropolitan Borough of Wolverhampton, West Midlands, England.[11] Her estate had probate on 30 December 1970 in Nottingham.[12]
