Hannah (Pimblett) Birchall was born in Leigh, Lancashire, England.

Hannah Pimblett was born in about 1821 in Leigh, Lancashire, England. [1]

When Hannah was about 22 she married James Mather on 6 June 1843 in Winwick, Lancashire. [2] The couple had at least 6 children.

In 1851 Hannah and her husband were living in the Brown Cow, Market Place, Warrington. [1]

Her husband died early in 1857.

When Hannah was about 38 she married William Birchall on 28 August 1859 in Manchester Cathedral, Lancashire. He was a saddler, about 17 years younger than her. [3] The couple had at least 2 children.

In 1861 Hannah was living in School Brow, Warrington with her husband and 5 children. [4]

Her husband died in 1870.

In 1871 Hannah was living in Garibald Street, Warrington with 5 children. She was a dress maker; 3 of her children were fustian cutters. [5]
