Louisa Pipkin is a part of US Black heritage.
1853 Apr 21: William B Muse deposed he had owned them since the 12th day of June 1851. the day of his marriage, having acquired them by his wife, who inherited them from her Father, they being born his slaves[1];
The said slave Louisa is of a brighter colour than Jef, good looking, height 5 feet 5 or 6 inches high - has lost several of her front teeth, pleasant manner full suit of hair or woll. No marks remembered on either.
